MONTHLY MEETUP

A room where the numbers get said out loud.

Once a month in Adelaide, for people who develop, invest in, and hold South Australian property. Free to attend. Places are limited.

Dates for the next meetup are being confirmed

We run on the third Wednesday of each month. Register your interest and we will send the date and booking link as soon as it opens.

Most property advice in Adelaide arrives from someone with something to sell. This room is the opposite — real feasibilities, the mistakes included, and what a site actually returned.

Two hours, three parts, no pitch.

6:30 — 7:00

Arrive and talk

Drinks and something to eat. Most of the value in the room is lateral, so we leave real time for it rather than a token ten minutes.

7:00 — 7:45

One project, opened up

A single South Australian project walked through end to end — site, planning path, build cost, finance structure, and what the feasibility actually returned. Including the parts that went wrong.

7:45 — 8:30

Open floor

Questions, and anyone in the room with a live problem can put it up. Planning knockbacks, builder disputes, finance that has stalled — the room is usually the fastest answer.

Built for people already doing it — or seriously close.

  • Small developers running one to five sites at a time
  • Investors weighing a first subdivision or knockdown rebuild
  • Owners sitting on a site and unsure what it is really worth
  • Builders, planners, brokers and surveyors who work on these deals
  • People who have done the courses and want the unedited version
  • Anyone holding SA property and thinking three years ahead

The practical questions.

Is it really free?

Yes. Registration exists so we know numbers for catering and seating, not to sell you anything. If that ever changes, the ticket price will be on this page before you click.

Will I be sold something?

No. There is no pitch, no upsell and no back-of-room offer. Kaizen runs the night because a better-informed local property community is good for everyone working in it, including us.

I am brand new to this. Am I out of place?

Not at all — but be aware the discussion assumes some familiarity with feasibility, planning and finance basics. You will get more out of it if you have at least read around the subject.

What if I can no longer make it?

Cancel through the link in your Eventbrite confirmation email. Places are limited, so releasing yours genuinely helps someone on the waitlist.

Can I bring someone?

Please do — just register them separately so the headcount is right. Business partners, spouses and colleagues are all welcome.
